Took some time off dieting

After my last blog post I was frustrated so I decided to take a break from dieting. And I don't mean a pigging out break! I decided to go 10 days eating 1800 calories per day. 1800 calories per day satisfies me and I don't feel hungry at all. I wanted to see if I would gain weight on that much food. I didn't...I hovered around 137-140, so I maintained.

My last blog post, I forgot one of my own rules: don't get frustrated with the day to day fluctuations of your weight. So many things can affect your daily weight, such as how much water you are retaining, how much food is in your gut, how much urine is in your bladder, gaining muscle, what time of day it is, etc.

I still want to get down to 130. I went back to my Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle e-book. In it he says that through thousands of years of evolution, the human body has learned to adapt to whatever amount of food we give it, to prevent starvation. So, I think my body has just adapted to what I was doing, and now I have to change. I will post more about what I decided to do to change, and if it works.
