Stuff I worried about when I was fat...Here are some things I worried about when I was 100 pounds overweight.· What if I am in a burning building and the fire fighter can't carry me out? (I thought about this alot during 9/11.) · Doctors don't listen to my health complaints...and they say everything is due to my excess weight. Probably true - but what if there's something else wrong? · I was afraid to get a mammogram because of the way they squish your breasts in between two plates of glass (being heavy makes one's breasts be much larger - OUCH!) · I don't want to suffer or be a burden on my family when I am old. (The aches and pains of being old are a hundred times worse when you are overweight.) · I'm going to get heart disease and/or diabetes before I'm 50! · Oh no - I won't fit into the seatbelt on this roller coaster ride! · I don't want my family to have to buy an extra large casket for me when I die. I don't worry about these things any more since losing 60 pounds. If I can turn my life around - you can too. Read my whole diet story at www.bestdiettips.com! I still have 40 pounds to lose, but I feel really good now, and if I don't ever lose more weight, I'll be happy. Blog entry for: 2004-10-05 09:49:24 Home Page / Diet Info | Blog Directory |
