Now at 143 pounds - YIPPIEEEEE!!!!!
Today I weight 143 pounds. I have now lost 101 pounds total, and have surpassed my original goal. I was stuck between 145 and 150 for a couple of months, so I am so happy!
What got me off my platuea was the Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle Program. I purchased the e-book and it has re-engergized my weight loss efforts so I can get rid of those stubborn last 10-20 lbs.
The Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle website is kinda tacky, but the information in the ebook is right on target with what I have been doing for 3 years, and has more information that is helping me even now (the expert dieter that I am - LOL). It talks about the importance of using mental strategies and setting goals. The food you eat on that plan is similar to south beach (limited good carbs, some healthy fats, lots of veggies and lean protein), but it also recommends counting calories and tells you how many caloires you need based on your height, weight, activity level, etc. It doesn't have a specific diet menu, but rather it has several diet templates (you pick which one fits you best), and you choose foods you like to fit the template, and you choose portion sizes to match your required calories. I like that because I like to choose my own foods, rather than try to make "Spinach Stuffed Salmon", or some other complex recipe!
