Hydroxycut CommercialsHave you seen the Hydroxycut commercial on TV?It features this couple "before" taking this diet pill, saying, "We were like this!", walking around with flabby stomachs. Then, it goes to a splitscreen showing them, "before" and "after" taking this diet pill. They walk in the exact same manner, in several identical settings, one side showing them as a fat couple, the other side showing them in a slim state. I did some digging around to try and find out if those commercials are fake or what. On the hydroxycut website, they link to an endorsement contract...which means they hire overweight people for their commercials, and do before and after shots. The fine print on the commercial says "Individuals have been compensated", so it all makes sense now. Hydroxycut is a diet pill that used to contain ephedra or ma huang. It has been reformulated since ephedra was banned by the FDA. Who knows what it contains now? Don't take a chance! My opinion of diet pills is that they are unhealthy, and will not lead to long term weight loss. The only way to do it is to change your fundamental thinking about food. Pick a diet that works for you, and stick with it forever. My favorite diet is Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle! It's the best way to lose body fat without losing muscle, and is a very balanced program.
