Edamame: Low Cal, Low Carb "Lima Beans"

A friend of mine gave me some Edamame, which are green shelled soybeans. They cook up tasting just like lima beans, but they are low cal, low carb, high fiber, and high protein.

I have not yet been able to find them in the store. My friend said they are in the frozen section, near the health food products. The package she gave me says Archer Farms Mukimame.

Per 1/2 cup serving they have: 90 calories, 4g fat, 7g carb, 4g fiber (so a net carb of 3g), and 7g protein.
