Diet StatusDiet Status: My current weight is 159... I actually fit into a size 10 Tommy Hilfiger pants today...WOW!!!I am continuing with a 1 pound per week weight loss :-) A 1 pound per week weight loss rate is ideal, IMO. I'm not starving hungry, and I don't feel deprived. I am a little hungry sometimes, but it's not unbearable, and that's to be expected when you are losing weight. Hunger is your body's signal that you aren't eating enough food to meet your daily caloric needs. I actaully feel better being a little hungry, than being bloated from overreating. Please note that I lost my first 60 pounds with no excercise. I think when a person is obese, their body doesn't resist losing weight as when a person is just a bit chubby. Also, a 244 pound body needs more calories to sustain life than a 184 pound body. Anyway, I hit a weight loss plateua at 184 pounds. At that point I knew I had to reduce my food intake or start exercising. I chose to start exercising. Now I am an exercise freak!
