I started drinking diet ginger ale about a month ago. I just realized that I have been craving carbs alot – cookies, crackers, pretzels, tortilla chips. And I've been having a hard time resisting them. ACK – I feel so bloated and fat right now. I was below 140 in early January. I'm afraid to weigh myself. Guessing I weigh about 145 based on how my jeans fit me! Bluh.
Anyway, I am giving up the diet soda. I will report back how it goes.




Yeah that diet soda can definitely cause a negative with some people. I’m interested in seeing how it goes for you once you give it up. I will be checking in for an update ~ Best Wishes!
Interesting enough, I have experienced,the same thing. I started drinking diet coke,and it was almost like I couldn’t control the craving for carbs. Once, I replaced the diet coke with water,the cravings went away.
you might think that diet sodas won’t make you feel bloated but it does. It has less sugar but it still makes your tummy big.

carbs are often one of the few things people can’t control cravings for …mainly on an subconcious level unlike the obvious sugar cravings… carb blockers can be a huge help I find
