I avoided the scale for months. I stopped counting my calories and just winged it. Finally, I stepped on the scale and it was 150 – OH CRAP!!!! I gained 10 pounds in just three months. (It was a very stressful three months – teaching is so frustrating!!)

I had worked so hard to get down to 135, and now I am 150.

Well, guess what? Winging it doesn’t work. I need to write down what I am eating every day, weigh myself every day, and be constantly diligent.

I reviewed my own top 10 diet tips, and I hung a photo of myself when I was 135 pounds right by my computer desk for motivation.
