I am finally back on track with my weight. I have been afraid to step on the scale since my last weigh-in on January 2nd…because even my bigger sized jeans were too tight and my eating was out of control. I would come home from work and pig out

I am finally back on track with my weight. I have been afraid to step on the scale since my last weigh-in on January 2nd…because even my bigger sized jeans were too tight and my eating was out of control. I would come home from work and pig out due to stress. I really felt out of control and had had completely lost touch with the ability to tell if I was hungry or full. I felt full all the time and still wanted to eat all the time.

About a month ago, I finally decided I was not going to buy all new clothes, and I would somehow fight my way back to my “thinner place”, where I am in control of my eating…and so my jeans would fit me again. I went back to my own rules of not eating after dinner, having a cup of tea when I am in the mood to pig out, writing everything down in a journal, etc. My jeans finally feel good again, so I weighed myself – I was 140 lbs today :-) .

It is truly a life long battle to maintain control. It was hard fighting my way back, but it truly does feel so much better to feel a little hungry sometimes, than to feel full and bloated all the time.
