Back on Track with Exercise!

I haven’t jogged in a whole month. I had been swimming laps instead, about every other day for 20 minutes. But haven’t even done that for 10 days because either the weather was rainy or I’ve been busy. For the past several days I have wanted to go out jogging

I haven’t jogged in a whole month. I had been swimming laps instead, about every other day for 20 minutes. But haven’t even done that for 10 days because either the weather was rainy or I’ve been busy. For the past several days I have wanted to go out jogging because the weather has really cooled off and is quite lovely. But I was afraid to go jogging because I hadn’t been in a while and thought maybe my lapse made me all out of shape again.

But I did great…YEAH!! I did my usual loop: walked 1/4 mile, jogged 1/2 mile, walked 1/4 mile, jogged 1/2 mile, then walked 1/4 mile. I felt a little more burning in my thigh muscles than usual, and a bit more winded near the end of each jogging sprint, but really I did great and am so happy and energized.

So, I am back on track (literally and figuratively)!
