Cutting Calories

I made my smoothie without milk this morning. It was awful – mostly because it was lukewarm. So, I added crushed ice and mixed it up some more. Then it was cold, but tasted too watery. So, I tossed that one, and started over.

I made my smoothie without milk this morning. It was awful – mostly because it was lukewarm. So, I added crushed ice and mixed it up some more. Then it was cold, but tasted too watery. So, I tossed that one, and started over.

The next time, I measured out 1/2 cup of water and then added crushed ice so it equaled 1 cup. Then added the whey powder and other ingredients, and mixed it up with my mini blender.

That tasted really good. So, I’ve cut 100 calories out by skipping the milk. Also good from a low carb perspective!
